HERE WE GO

Today I went for my first chemo treatment. It was not
as bad as I thought it would be.
It was actually scheduled for yesterday but due to a mix up
in time scheduling I was to late to get started. I went back
today. It took 5 hours. This may sound bad but, I was out of
the house for 5 hours and around others who are going
through the same thing I am going through.
I now know I will be out of work much longer than I had
expected so I plan to as long as my energy allows me to put
together a website about what I am going through and tell
the stories of the others I am going through treatment with.
I know the economy is in the toilet and I probably would not
be as sick as I am if not for that. Thank God I have
insurance but, you would not believe the things insurance
does not cover or charges more for on deductibles you do
not know about until you get there.
Just 2 examples. The ct scan was $1,500 deduct for the
$6,000 test and the 2 yes I said 2 pills I am suppose to take
tomorrow morning and Saturday are $78.00. Without
insurance they would be over $400.00.
Needless to say I walked away and am going to contact the
insurance company and doctor tomorrow.
I got assistance with the cat scan maybe. The jury is still out
on that one. These pills will be another thought.
I am really tired and do not feel like writing allot now. I have
to much on my mind.
I will try tomorrow to write more when I can get my thoughts
more in line.
